Grindlings has no accounts and asks for no personal details. This page lists what the site keeps, what other services see when you visit, and how to opt out.
What stays in your browser
Your settings, saved temple layouts and regex searches are kept in your browser's local storage so they survive a reload. They never leave your device, and clearing site data removes them. An uploaded .hideout file is read in the page and is never sent anywhere.
Advertising
The site may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure them. Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first through Google's consent message. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings, linked below.
Visitor statistics
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you; it only reports totals such as pages visited and countries.
Forms and bot checks
The feedback form and the optional entry check use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. A feedback message, and the contact you choose to add, is sent to the site's private Discord channel and used only to reply and improve the site.
Server logs
Like any website, the server and Cloudflare record requests (address, page, time, browser) to keep the site running and secure. Logs are kept only for a limited time (about two weeks in our monitoring) and are not used to identify visitors.
